About Me

My name is Pete Thomas, an accomplished IT professional in my 50s based in the UK, with over 30 years of hands-on experience delivering innovative IT projects and working with a wide range of technologies.

I have always been deeply passionate about new ideas and developments in computing, communications technologies, and the Internet. Over the years, this passion—combined with broad technical exposure—naturally led me into the role of a technology consultant, a title that was largely “assigned” to me by friends, colleagues, and clients alike.

I became known as the “man with an answer”—someone able to connect dots across multiple technology domains and find practical solutions to complex problems. One of my most reliable companions on this journey has been Google, which complements my somewhat hidden talent: knowing exactly what to search for, and how, in order to find the right answers quickly and effectively.

I created this site to share some of my own discoveries, insights, and solutions, with the hope that they will prove useful to others navigating the ever-evolving world of technology.
